Real story here: I sent the payday 2 soundtrack to a friend of mine who said he enjoyed a lot of "electronic music" and he said "yo bro this shit is fire". Nice. Fast forward about 7 months I had to travel to the same town my friend lived so I asked him to sleep over. .... His alarm clock was Donacdum. Please. Now picture me, tired as fuck, having to wake up in the bloody morning, with Clover yelling HEY YOU GET ON YOU FEET. I almost had a heart attack Best experience of my life 10/10

I like how payday has two kinds of players. The super serious guys who play it as a heist simulator with some silly stuff mixed in, and the shitters who play it like a sandbox game that just happens to involve heists. It’s wonderful.

It has guards in armor similar to Murkywater Guards in Shadow Raid, Camera's are camera looped for a shorter time (by half), and the Assaults are much more intense. They include a Taser Captain as well. Good luck if you face Captain Winters and the so-hinted Taser Captain. It's a pretty damn good one I'd dare say. Tied for me with Destiny 1, DOOM (2020 & 2016), Hotline Miami 1 & 2, and even Halo: Reach. Waaaaayyyyy up there in my opinion.
I have loved Team Fortress 2 ever since I got it (1.7k hours wooo!), but Payday 2 is now one of my all-time favorites next to TF2, and I see many similarities with them. They have really dumb but fun mechanics, a soundtrack that is bigger than the game itself, the personalities of everything (even the characters), and so much more.

Story time I have two friends and we used to play payday 2 together.. a lot. One day we decided to just fuck around in-game, no serious shit just enjoying the game. It was about 2 AM when I've told em "guys, let me host, I have a great soundtrack for you". I selected Donacdum which my friends never heard before, and there we go... One of them beloved this soundtrack, he liked it so much he once blasted the song on house party he organized. So, it's almost midnight, me, my friend and some other guys and girls are now drunk, nobody knows why are we so hyped about this masterpiece of a song, shit was so loud it was matter of time when police show up, and they did.. My friend opened the door for police officers and it was timed perfectly when Chains say "On the goddamn ground" lmaooo, one of the officers grabbed the taser because of that. It thankfully ended on a warning but my drunk ass felt like a police assault is about to happen lol.

@@sgx4369 Golden Grin Casino always has one when you breach the vault on loud, and unluckily my friend got put into custody right as we breached, so in the end it was about 30 minutes of me trying to kill police to end the assault, then I searched it up and realized that Golden Grin has an infinite assault at that point. We couldn't be assed to get all the bags so we escaped with the dentists loot and one bag of cash lmao
