Most definitely. Payday 2 got more time in the oven when it needed it, and look where it is now. While I'm wary, I'm still somewhat hopeful for Payday 3's future updates.
I think it makes more sense that it's extreme because it's weird how someone would be reloading fairly slow and calm in a gunfight against a gazillion police officers.
I really hope they don't tweak it to match more with cod mw2019 style in the name making it look more good like I am tired of seeing devs just trying to be tacticool
I don't know the glock reload still iffs me a little. Especially how they basically gave it a new ejection port when the gun already had one from the start
One thing that never sat well with me was how some reloads (mostly pistols) the character inserts the magazine but not with their full palm or even holding the mag tightly, they just sorta just slap the rest of the way in with the edge of their palm, I know it’s for extended mags but surely there was a better way of animating that.
at first i disliked how they gave away the smoothness of payday 2 animations in exchange for the MW inspired style everyone is doing nowadays but i learned to love theses since they have impact but are still a bit goofy in a good way
ill forever think they downgraded by not making it look like theyre pulling the magazines out of their suit pocket i dont care if it doesnt look right with different outfits it looks COOL
Hey what really happened to this game like it was a big deal when it came out but I haven’t heard single thing about this game I probably haven’t heard something about it, but I’m just curious what happened to it?
tbh i like these reload animations more than the ones in Payday 2, sure the quality is quite all over the place from what i can tell (looking at you SG Compact) but they do the job and feel quite satisfying imo
@@zer0synd1cate i know what animation styles are. I just wish people would shut the fuck up about COD somehow inventing retaining a magazine with ammo in it still. Hell, Insurgency Sandstorm lets you retain your magazine and it actually does something gameplay wise.
if it was a good copy of 2019 it would've been good at least but the quality of these animations is just pathetic, especially the AK, not to mention that MP7 has MP5 slap for some reason...
