We did the same thing with our house repairs. we waited a year until we saved up the money so that we would not go into debt and I am so happy we did.

Woo-wee Another card and another minimum gone! Please don't discount the dollars of interest savings as you pay off cards and debt. We are all too quick to feel great when we save $.25 on a coupon or $.50 on a sale yet, all too slow to count the dollars of interest owed/ paid we can save on.
