Ragnarok and this city will be forever in my mind. I had a lonely chilhood, wasn't so popular, never had too many friends... Basically Ragnarok saved me. My chillout place was in front of Payon Dungeon. It was quiet, only good friends and new players with doubts searching for help in their jouney passing by, wich i was always there for them. In my adulthood, i started to playing again when i entered Law School. Met a good friend in a private server. I was a newbie, and met her in the same spot i've always been. She helped me after a long time without playing, exactly the same way i helped others in my childhood. We're still friends til this day. Unfortunately, both of us don't have the time to spent on the game anymore. Thank you Ragnarok, thanks for the Brazil community, for saving my youth from the darkeness and loneliness ocasioned by some bullies and others troubles... Greetings from Brazil!

The OG payon map!! I love this video I'll use this as a background music while I'm trying to sleep. The payon theme song always makes me feel calm. And with the teleporting sound effects, it gives me that nostalgic days feel, like that i fell asleep while waiting for people to buy my stuff and doing transactions when i want to buy the stuff i want. I always like doing adventures back then, hunting for monster cards, collecting herbs, buying empty bottles, making mr. Smile and selling them to newbies (lol), partying in GH, flooding the payon dungeon with casting heal to zombies. Good times! Wish i could turn back time to the good ol' days!
I remembered my 1st merchant shop selling Red Potion and White Potion was here, and I misspelled potion as potoin, and I became the famous "potoin guy" in front of the zombie cave >.< Oh what memory
I think most of people who played Ragnarok have something very special in common, and that's how nostalgic you get when listening a particular song and remember a map where you had such a great time, a true deep nostalgia I mean. In my opinion, there is no other game that can achieve this effect. Loved this game, Blessings and Aspersios to everyone reading this!
it was really my 2nd world back then, I almost never log out from this game, even when i was away from my PC, I still let the bgm sound fulfill my bedroom all day long, it somehow really give me a peace to hear the ambience n bgm and these days, I listen to this to help me sleep ❤

The place i learned of the "Agi Knight" build. So many memories. Might as well play RO again. Edit: You frelling done it... gonna go play RO again now.. Them feels where to hard to controll XD
You can relaunch the game as many as you like. Some vibes might be here and there, but you can never bring all the memories back to life. Even if you could play with some of your og friends.
I remembered the first time my brother introduced this game to me in 2005. I was so happy until I want to spend 24 hours in that Internet Cafe. The Internet Cafe is called Neverland and I really like the smell of the room in that cafe. Now, the Internet Cafe is not there anymore, but I still remember every good moment of it so vividly 🥺

i put this on full screen to make the feeling of the game actually being there...when my heart knows is not...but it helps with the pain, even if is just for a short time ....=(

leveling: payon dungeon zeny: payon fields my lv14 archer with 1000 zeny and bow. good old time i had with lv 15 acolyte that heals 72 we met at payon dungeon portal and decided to party. spent several months to leveling at payon dungeon until lv50, we moved to glast heim underground prison
i wish i could play ragnarok online on a comfy portable device like the nintendo switch so i could always play while im away but i suppose a laptop will do
