In this tutorial, we take a look at how you can obtain your PayPal sandbox account details and utilize them to test the function of WP Express Checkout Plugin or any plugin that allows for PayPal testing. Using a PayPal Sandbox account allows merchants to see the full flow of events for a customer transaction without the need to use 'real' money.

Well, yes. But you completely omit what to do with the sandbox business account. I'm reliably informed that you have to use both a personal account AND business account. So what do you do with the business account? Is the business account supposed to represent me, the trader? Or what?

Sandbox payments are not real but it gives a good way to test a few things while someone is setting things up. When you are ready to go live, you can create a test product for $1 and do a live/normal transaction using your own credit card or you can request a family member to do a transaction using their PayPal account. This can give you 100% confidence that everything is working.

Hello.Great video.Can I still receive real payments from the purchasers when I enable Paypal payment method with sandbox API credentials?I know that sandbox mode is testing transactions but I do not know can I as a seller who set up Paypal sandbox still receive real payments from purchasers in that case too.Thank you.

Hello, Korin. Thank you for your clear instructions. I see in your video that the buyer has the opportunity to download the file immediately after purchase. On my website I do not get that option. Is that a setting in WooCommerce?
