I don't own this video: for information purposes only Paz Lenchantin Venus in Furs Live at McCabe's @pazlenchantin you are beautiful and very talented! Thanks!
I met her backstage when she was the bass player for apc i was working security at the bert flickenger center where they were performing. We made short talk about buffalo ny and how much she admired the architectual aspect of downtown Buffalo she admired the old buildings of the city. She knew who Frank Lloyd Wright was and I told her he had a few homes and buildings he designed here as well. She's very intelligent very polite it was a nice conversation and she's very very attractive as well
I saw APC open for NIN in Houston in 2000. I remember being mesmerized by Paz, she came out in fishnet stockings and leather boots and was a force on that bass
This person is brilliant/ captivating...today I clicked on a 2018 Pixies concert, and when I started the video I started wondering if Paz was still playing bass with them and she was, so then after listening to a few songs I wondered if she had any recent interviews out, so I youtube searched Paz Lenchantin 2018, and found this...simply amazing...
I'll never forget the first time I saw you live on the Mer de Noms tour when A Perfect Circle opened up for Nine Inch Nails in Philadelphia. I'm still a fan
She is Def most mos Def and such a charm how she is able to put all the different aspects together ❤💓👏🙌💗💖❤💓👏🙌💗💖❤💓 And most excellent vocals I enjoy quite honestly
When you cover the Velvet Underground, you have capture that subtle yet full sound... ... Paz excelled at it. This is my favorite verision of Venus In Furs by far. I like it even more than the original.
What can I say , the gal loves to loop LOL. Clever and I have to say I dig her choice of song to cover - Velvet Underground has loads of edge so any interpretation is going to be pretty solid.
good player in every instrument, interesting and original lines. I know her because of A Perfect Circle but wanted to see some interviews and stuff and ran into this video. really happy about it, a great artist.
Paz recreates the essence and aural experience of the Velvet Underground. In a a recent interview, she said the Velvet Underground was big influence on her musical repertoire.
