GOI has definitely been the most addictive to me, perhaps insidiously so as it can make you sore due to how the game works. The way it is with speedruns, you may see people like me pick up a game, get a run that I would consider "conclusive" to what can be achieved, and drop the game forever. GOI is for sure an exception to this rule, and proves to be just enjoyable all around in addition to being challenging. Very interesting game.
@@Hachimen I wouldn't be surprised if you get close to the WR in the future, since you actually enjoy running this. Do you plan on improving the Jump King run? That game seems really frustrating.
@@Shouttz The level of optimization on GOI is so insane I would never dare make such a prediction. It's a hurdle that's hard to know if you even have the talent to overcome. Jump King, I was actually "enjoying" running the ghost babe version of that lately, but it's very difficult to put together a sub 10 speedrun.
Yes, it takes a lot of dedication to speedrun. Simply cannot be done without loving the game. At the end screen you can see I had over 1200 completions, which should speak for itself.
