Increasing the salary of public school teachers across the board may help them send their children to good university, irrespective whether these teachers live in urban or rural areas. If the point of argument that increasing the salary of public school teachers throughout the country is not a good idea because those teachers living in the rural community are in a better position, considering the low standard of living in this community, etc., as compared to those in the urban areas, is a wrong perspective. It is a wrong perspective because those teachers in the rural areas are also sending their children to school in urban schools, e.g. Manila, Cebu, Davao, to cite a few. Look, children of teachers living in urban centers do not spend much as compared to those living in remote areas, when these teachers in the latter areas would go to urban centers for their children's future. Contrary to this gentleman's view that increment of public school teachers' salary is "not important..." sounds irrelevant. Hence, increasing their salary is better and sufficient so that they can send their children or brother or sister to school in the urban centers. That is why DepEd Sec Angara needs to see what had never been seen in the past. Mabuhay ka Sec Angara.

Filipino Enculturation ang kailangan ang edukasyon. Maayadong mababang uri ng dignidad ang nkikita sa ngayon ng kulturang pilipino. Pala asa, palahingi, look at the children in the streets, teenagers roaming in the streets at night, quality of services very poor standards
Ang problema sa deped napakaraming programa ang ipanapatupad at pinopondohan locally and even from foreign funds...nauubos ang pondo pero less yung napupunta at napapakinabangan ng mga mag-aaral... Mas maraming pondo ang nauubos sa mga training/retraining ...no focus sa pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral sa equipment and materials they need for skills training... In the secondary malalaking schools lang ang nabibigyan ng equipment pero yung barrio highschool tiis sa wala...
