This was the only thing that worked for me, tried reinstalling microsoft c++ all years, bypassing firewall settings, and updating drivers to no avail. Appreciate this!

I've been looking for a solution to this problem for a very long time. Thank you very much indeed 🙏 I wonder if there was a problem while restoring the game because I made a backup, so I verified the file, deleted the game and reinstalled it, etc. And since none of them worked, I finally got angry and quit. thank god and you that I found this video. I'll assume that the .dll file that we deleted was trying to scan the PC the game was being run on and being unable to do so, consumed more and more RAM crashing in the process. getting rid of the file most likely allowed the game .exe to skip the process going straight to launching the game. AND IT WORKS!
