Good to know it is there at least for nostalgic and sentimental reasons. Also good we dont have to mess with downloading bioses or similar files. I wonder if we could perform the letterbomb, or the smash stack and similar exploits.

the main reason one would want this is the message board for things like that mario galaxy picture you get for beating it or the calling's lady in red messages.

I've got a small problem I'm running into Whenever I click on the Tools tab, I don't really see an option that allows for a system update. I see an option that says Load Wii Menu, but it's grayed out and won't let me click it. Is there a fix to this? I'm using version 5.0 just a heads up

The option was added in version 5.0-4588 so the stable build (5.0) doesn’t have it. If you install any of the recent beta versions of dolphin it should be there

This did not work for me. I selected US Region because I live in the US, and waited for it to finish loading... but then clicking on Wii System Menu just immediately says system files are corrupted when trying to go past the Lenguage menu. It then froze when the error popped up, forcing me to close it manually. I do not know what I need to do to fix this, looking online tells me to just dump the actual Wii files from a Wii system for it to actually work.

Hi I followed this tutorial as I have Dolphin 5.0-16380 and I always get stuck on the select a language menu it wont even let me scroll down to confirm it's just stuck on the selected English are there any other requirements to this? I have my wii remote connected to my pc and everything but it just stays stuck on the system language menu it wont even let me use my mouse

you have to configure pointer settings cause it doesnt use controller inputs at that point

when u have the wii menu and make miis in the mii channal, those miis are usable in any game you play in the emulator

Are WAD files typically pertinent to older gen games ported to the Wii? I was wondering if this is possible with any given game or not because I don't even have WADs for the games I already have

During the part where it asks me to perform an online system update mid update it says “IOS_FS: Failed to rename temporary FST file” does anyone know how to fix it and if so please let me know and thank you.

are you useing dolphhin emulator on ios if yes maybe your iphone is blocking it from renameing the temporary fst file tho i don't have have a fix if you have any security maybe try disableing it

I was curious if I'm able to make channels for the ISO file games that would normally be discs? I saw someone who had done it, but I wasn't sure of how to do so, and can't seem to find anything on it. Maybe I'm just crazy and they were WAD file games though
