I switched from ps4 to PC and immediately jumped 200 elo to diamond. Struggled in plat for months. Console has larger deadzones AND input lag(even wired) the instantaneous inputs and quicker reverse inputs on a pc controller made my movement faster, combos easier, and reversing nlight moves actually possible. Night and day when it comes to the competitive side. Couch battles with your friends will always be more fun. Just my expercience

Keyboard lowkey makes things easier

I was both. Console players just fight kinda different. There is some lags against console player too, what I mean is that as a pc player I lag fighting them. I feel everything depends on the player. There players who switch to pc, barely went up and some that went up 200 elo. It's placebo effect to me, but pc feels better.

Was stuck 1820 on xbox swapped to pc with 244hz monitor shot up to 2200 and gave up on the game soon as people got to passive

This doesn’t feel like a fair comparison because someone who’s plays on console is probably like diamond one they get used to pc so a plat against a plat is just who’s a better player but if you did the best pc player va the best console player or like the best pc player vs like the second best on console would be much more fair

never seen someone who plays how i do, testing the waters by starting combos but not finishing them to see what the opponent does and then doin it again but finishing the combo that time, not only to help predict but to also have the opponent let their gaurd down cuz they think you wont combo again lol these usernames are fire, NAP and BUN

I’ve played both, there’s so much difference in a game like with kbm will always be better, especially if matched with over 180fps which most people have for a small game like this. Console has a huge disadvantage.

I've played both on and off. Keyboard is better than controller even on a console. More control over your inputs, less input lag and less clunky. Pc beats console in performance aswell. Edit: my dumbass spelled "control" as "controller" 💀

Ok, I played both platforms, in both I only reached platinum, and I don’t know if you can relate but, console its much easier to move from “the attack buttons” which means its easier to make a decision mid battle and act much more quickly, whereas in the computer movement its what gives advantage, cuz at least for me, it was hard to get used to how much expression you had to put in each attack só the understands what you are asking him to do. Só between this to, and in a context of “brawlhalla” I’d go for PC, cuz you end up getting to agressive/ative, in a game where its all about punishing, só yes movement as to be better and smoother than aggressiveness That or my console its broke 😅
