PCM Hammer: Basic Overview Of Free LS Tuning Software 

Great Vid. Watched your channel just for the PCM Hammer info.

So to enable electric fans, i added in blue 42 and red 33 wires to trigger relays and then in tunerpro i changed TURN ON TEMPS to 99/103C and TURN OFF temps to 88. Is that suffcient to get them running properly? cuz there was alot of options to change.

It would say “VIN has been successfully changed, but when I have the program to re-read the PCM the old VIN is still there. Can you please help me. Thank you so much. Stupid question new to this. Should I already have a new VIN written down in order to change it on pcm hammer? Where would I get a VIN that’s accepted?

So once the Bluetooth connection is established between the OBDLINK and the PC , PCMHAMMER will see that connection and initialize?

If i had a set like yours could i use a usb to ofb2 cord instead of a Bluetooth

So just changing the VIN doesn't change anything else in the PCM, correct? I have an 05 silverado that had a bad pcm, I replaced it with one from a junkyard however the one from the junkyard came off of a 2004 and doesn't have electric fans programmed into it. If I were to put in the 2005 VIN would I still need to program in the electric fans?

Looks interesting, does this work on V6's or just LS. I'm trying to fix a vin issue with a 3800SC Aztek I'm building. HPTuners isn't working for me on this. Going to try soon regardless.

Every time I go to read properties it says Vin query failed: Timeout it happens and 2 different obd2 plugs 2 different computers and 2 different pcms I’m not sure how to fix it

Hi do you know if this works with the new version software on the obdlink lx version 5.6.19? I'm not able to use it with ls droid anymore. If pcmhammer will work with it ill go to it. Need to re flash a computer i have. Or if you might know how i can go to a older version of software? Thanks

So I totally screwed up with the current draw of the PCM I forgot I had 2 of them plugged into the Power supply. ( my Bench tester is also a PCM). So it really pulls closter to .300 amps when running and 0 once it shut all the way down. Hope its helpful!

How do I connect my Obd to tuner pro????

Hey man I have a question, does the tuner pro have the capabilities of deleting vats? Or is that in the PCM hammer?

Do you have to make a bench harness or can you use the factory wiring harness in the vehicle with the obd2 port?

I have hp tuners and have already purchased the license for the 99 to 06 silverado gas v8s so I assume that is just based off the vin

I have not started using this yet but question, when you are in PCM Hammer and then move to TunerPro are they connected at the same time? Or do you have to connect to one and share through another?

Do you know if PCM hammer can use hptuner files? I have been thinking of getting a mail order tune, but they are for hptuners. Can I use pcmhammer to flash with that file?

my question is PCM hammer ANY better than LS droid? ls droid will only support up to an 06 pcm... and does me no good... mine is an 08- 10

is the black mx ODB2 any better than green? cuz its only 6 bucks more in canada?

My PCM Hammer Ver. 10 is the only one that works on my laptop. Ver. 13 and 14 the options are ghosted out and non functional.

i couldnt get either android phone of mine to even register LSdroid so i installed PCM-Hammer and it read & saved my entire PCM first try. then i used to tunerpro to delete VATs and enable electric fans and was done tuning just like that BUT when i went to save it it in TunerPro, it gave me this error box "Error, some checksum files may need updating, please check cechsums etc " Im hesitant to write this to my PCm. So i contacted ROuku y , the creator of P01-P59 DLL checksum and he gave me a tinytuner app which supposedly fixed the checksum just like that! But im skeptical and anxious to write this to my only pcm.
