I bought Starfield at launch. I played long enough to take off from the starter zone mining place, then got confused about what to do next. I landed (in the wrong spot) and took off several times from a nearby planet-moon-thing while not finding whatever or whoever it was that I was supposed to find. I shut off the computer, went to bed and haven't loaded Starfield since.
Regarding the GoG Galaxy cloudsaves thing. I really wonder how much of their userbase is using that client and the cloud save feature. I've never used GoG Galaxy and prefer just downloading the installer and compressed files to use whenever I want... @43:00 The RX 7800 XT is not really an RTX 4070 Super competitor.. I have both and there's only one title I found which had them equal and that was Starfield - which is primarily due to the CPU in use...
Yea, one of my pcs is a simple hp all in one, 6 cores, plenty. Every time it updates the bios, i worry. But mine go thorugh hp app, not windows update though.
£500 a day to hire The Josh. If I won the lottery it's absolutely happening. How's $2k a week for the whole crew to live in my dungeon, I mean hang out. Throw in a Shrout and Malventano, get the Candian to bring his old bed throw/privacy blanket. and we have a deal at $3k per week, but Josh has to take me out for burgers every week, no tomato.
I miss those days. Doesn't seem like that long ago that I could get a xx60 for around $229 - $249 and spring for the xx70 for $329. It may have been the GTX 500 Series, come to think of it, which was a decade ago, but STILL.
When are you guys going to get it thru your heads. We are not all gamers. I'm grabbing a 9950x and a 9600x for dev machines. I can still game on the 9600x and I'm good. Can you please offer perspectives for other people who are not gamers.
You could indeed game on any of the Zen5 models, but the 7800x3D and 7900x3D are around cheap at the moment, so for some non gamer people who run something that has a large working set can benefit too.
Understandable, i have tried workloads on x3d parts and some environments benefits from it. But for raw compute, I'm looking at the 9950x with the modified interconnect. @RobBCactive
