PCR: Prepare the PCR Cocktail 

o This clip demonstrates how to calculate the amount of each reagent needed to make a “PCR cocktail,” which contains forward and reverse primers, nuclease-free water, and a Taq polymerase master mix. When making the mixture, make enough for the number of reactions +1 to account for any liquid lost in pipetting. Make sure to change tips between each reagent.
