Hey girl!! So I’ve definitely just binge watched a ton of your videos because we are PCSing the UK early next year! I was wondering if you’ve thought of doing a video on starting to vlog. I’d like to document our travels while we’re out there too. I think it’s be nice for family and friends back home to watch and for us later on too. I downloaded Splice on my phone to try to get used to editing videos before I commit to buying a camera and microphone. So yea, I was just wondering seeing if you maybe could do a video on what you did to start vlogging and any tips that you have?
I have so many questions. I won't be arriving til June 2019 but my dogs are due for rabies soon. If I get it done now & this time next year, will i be OK? Or do I need to wait til I'm in the 21 day window to renew their rabies? Also does the tapeworm med have to administered by a vet? Can't you buy the med & do it home? But how do you get that documented? & the C5 form? Does that have to be signed by USDA as well? Sorry for all the questions! Lol I have 2 dogs I'm trying to get over & I don't wanna mess up.
Here’s a full list 1. Have your pet microchipped- The microchip MUST conform to the ISO 11784/17785 15-digit microchip regulations. 2. Vaccinate the pet for rabies. (make sure your pet is microchipped first or the vaccination won’t count) There is a wait of 21 days from the date of the first rabies vaccination before a pet can enter or re-enter the UK. 3. Make arrangements on airlines for your pet to leave on an approved route and transport company. (ie United, British Airways) Check with www.gov.uk/browse/abroad/travel-abroad/pet-travel-and-welfare 4. Buy an approved carrier/crate for international flights. 5. Contact PBS (Customs) and fill out C5 form. www.shipyourpet.com/pets-in-to-the-uk/ 6. Have your pet treated against tapeworms. Tapeworm rules apply to pet dogs only. Not less than 24 hours and not more than 120 hours (1 to 5 days) before its scheduled arrival time in the UK under the Pet Travel Scheme, your dog must be treated against tapeworm and the treatment recorded in the EU pet passport or the third country official veterinary certificate. 7. Get pet passport or third country official veterinary certificate to enter (or re-enter) the UK. You must arrive in UK within 10 days of the date the certificate was issued. Must be signed by a Military Vet or USDA office. 8. Fill out the Annex two form….
This is what’s holding us back from going overseas. I’m just so worried. My dog is 70 pounds and knows basic commands. Was your dog large? I’m so worried to put him on a plane.
Chris Henniker well I guess it’s a good thing they check all the shot records then huh? Your pups are more likely to have rabies from being a neglectful parent
@@GonzalezFamilyAdventures there's no need to speak like that, we have more chance of rabies coming into the UK from Europe than anywhere else as you can drive too the UK from and hide a dog or cat in the car and avoid it being found
