First day on the PCT. In this video I show what the trail looks like, as well as list water sources and campsites with mile markers along the way. My faithful trekking pole breaks, and I pitch my beloved Durston Xmid Pro 2 with my apex guylines in the Manzanita trees above my tent!
This is my very first official RU-vid Video and I have a lot to learn.

I’ve been having MIC issues. One “buzzed” and the new one didn’t fit my phone without taking off the case. Having a good, mic is the only way with the wind. I’m hoping I get all the gear shenanigans figured out before I hit the trail :-)

Yes. That’s a great suggestion. Unfortunately I didn’t edit any videos in 2023 until AFTER my hike and had no idea what I was doing 🤣🫣

No one is checking permits at the terminus, it's local enforcement along the way. No permit=very large fine.
