Vlogging has to be a pain in the ass, but those of us following the journey do appreciate it. Glad your gonna keep going at least for now. A "documentary" like you did for the AT would be awesome.
Thank you for having taken the time to share your hike this time. But I totally get the “not liking the whole thing” and what it “steals “ from your time and experience - and thank you very much for being considerate in not showing others that have not agreed to be on the webs in your pictures. Best wishes for the rest of the trail, and hope you get as many miles safely as possible.
Vlogging is a pain in the ass. I did it for the same reason you are, to remember it later, plus to show family and friends what I was doing. I appreciate your videos.
It is hard. I filmed my John Muir Trail hike for RU-vid and made a point on the video about how hard it was to film everything. We were so tired and there were days when we hiked all day in the rain, thunder, hail and lightening but I didn't get most of it because it was so hard to to get through the hike. I'm impressed with all the videos you and Chap have done. Hats off to you.
Your take on vlogging is very insightful and quite understandable why it has become a burden. I enjoy your wry sense of humour and your total honesty and hopefully will be with you until Canada.😊
Always love your entertainment even the bitch sessions. You are unique and filled with fortitude to getting to the goals of the day. I look forward to your vlogs. Thankyou for all effort putting it together 😊
I don’t do any vlogging but I’m sure it’s very frustrating day in and day out to do exactly what you said about it! But please finish your journey for us! I think we are all too invested in you now to not see the end of it, at least I know I am ❤ I’m starting to feel sad with some of you I’m following knowing the end is near! You are awesome and you are kind Jake I’m glad I got a glimpse of that!
Thank you for continuing to vlog bro. I’ve been doing it for a few trip on my sons channel @randdoutdoors , and I agree with everything you said. But your channel is more my speed. Funny, real, and authentic. Keep slaying it bro. Not only is it great for you to look back on it does and will inspire others to get out doors and backpack. It’s become a daily ritual to watch your videos. Much appreciated. 🤘🤘🤘
I do enjoy your vlogging and you've echoed many vloggers' laments. If possible, could you name some of the lakes or landmarks as to add to walking through nature feels? Also, to support, I let the ads run - the 2-fer ads during which I take timed breaks, 😊!
