Just so you guys know, I know it’s been 3 years but you don’t have to play through this to unlock all the characters, in every smash bros, playing the smash mode and just doing 1 life matches unlock characters

Everyone knows Story Mode in Smash is the cheapest way to unlock all the characters. Its not the only way, but its apparently the easiest

@@ladylunaginaofgames40 I don't know if they ever patched it but the easiest way at launch was to SD roughly five 1 stock games until a challenger appeared and then you beat them. Then you close the game and repeat the process.

I love how people were talking shit about Brawl's Subspace Emissary being terrible just because of the labyrinth stage, then come Smash 4 there was no story mode and everyone was upset there was no singleplayer story, then they get World of Light in Ultimate and cry to have something like Subspace Emissary back.
