She actually only says "The Baby" 13 times in Other M, it just happens to be at the beginning of the game.

And now you know why Samus was on board Star Fox's mothership raving with Team Star Fox minus Fox. By the way, saving the animals is the canonical ending of Super Metroid. The animals are infected with the X-parasite, which is the enemy force of the last game in the timeline, Metroid Fusion. Fun fact, the Metroids were created by the people who raised Samus to be the predator of the otherwise unstoppable X-parasite. So to Samus, nice job breaking it, Hero.

@@Rundas045 When you save the animals in the actual game, the shot of Samus' ship leaving the planet also includes a little dot leaving the planet and disappearing off the screen to the right. The animals left in a ship. The monkey things and bird thing left in a ship.

Fun fact: the Chuzo, the ones who raised Samus, refer to the metroids as prefect warriors. The latest game adds some new lore and a new form

Nice reaction, fellas. Just a reminder that the SAVE ending was actually canon to the Something About series. Also, you guys missed the third ending. The TOOK TOO LONG ending.
