This is the PDP-8/I at the RICM copying a program file from the OS DECtape at the bottom to the User's DECtape above. There are no disk drives on this system so all of the programs are loaded from the OS DECtape.
awesome setup, i am working to get my pdp8 with a remex paper tape working. what is that variant of the pdp 8, i have never seen that kind with the front panel seen at the bottom with the lights.
