I heard Becky Fender in 1982 in San Antionio at a black church (Bishop Willam Ellis); I never to his day has not forgotten the anointing of this powerful woman, and the words of the song will usher a peace within ones atmosphere. I am so happy to locate this song andBecker Fender; a search for a diamond has been found! ..Thank God for this You Tube space! You will discover a peace as one listens to this video and the B.O.T.T 1996 version as well!
I heard Becky in Dallas in the 80's she was amazing. I remember she took her shoes off while she was singing and the spirit fell all over that place. Im sure she lived what she sung. You could tell. Alotta great ministry paced through Dallas back in the 80's that was the bible belt before Tulsa came along.
I've always loved Becky's annointed singing. I remember going to a concert at Living Way back in the mid 80's with a group called Teddy Huffam and the Gems. Teddy sang with all the South Gospel greats of that time. Becky sang during the concert. Teddy told her "Honey they call Vestal Goodman the Queen of Gospel Music but she aint got nothing on you".
I remember this song from the first years of my salvation in the '80's! How wonderful to find it here. Thank you so much for posting this. It's like re-living my first experience with Christ.
Thank you for posting for I recall Sister Finder singing and playing the Hammond Organ in the UPCI or Free Holiness Movement. Seen her in Fresno, Ca & Jacks Creek, TN: Rev. Michael Capps, Ph.D
Steve and Becky Fender pastor in San Antonio, TX, at Livingway Church. If you Google 'Livingway Church San Antonio, TX' - you'll find their website and Becky has her own page where much of her music and her sermons are available. As awesome a singer as she is, she's an even better teacher.
