It's sad that abused indigenous women have to muster the strength to continue on, while big industry just sit around and watch the injustices they face. They are literally the mothers of this nation but have ended up among the most marginalized.

As the land becomes more abused you will see people become more aware... It is hard to watch the abuse.. The planet will always repair itself no matter what destruction we put upon it.. The way that humans are handling this planet it won't be to much longer that humans won't exist.. That is OK though I know the planet will heal and be bountiful again.. Great video....

Not much has changed since your comment. I hope theres a spurt in awareness of indigenous violence just like the George Floyd awareness

So true and heartfelt. What really stuck out to me was their conversation about people from out of town flying into out Peace Region area to work. They really do make those comments. A lot of them in my own experiences have had two separate worlds too, in a sense that they'll have affairs or cheat of their wives or girlfriends and/or contribute to the violence with drugs and alcohol...safety issues both at work and off work. It's really upsetting. A lot of them just did not care for the locals or wellbeing of others that call the place a home. Thanks for posting and I hope more people share this.

Ladies of this community please protect yourself from these monsters if not a firearm a pepper spray is cheap and will stop someone threatening to harm you

Pepper spray is illegal to use in Canada. Canada needs to loosen its self defence laws because right now it’s basically illegal to protect yourself.

@@coltonross5414 Bear spray is legal and so are BB guns and pellet guns be creative push comes to shove their other things That are legal

@@betunia98 they are legal to buy, but not for the intention of self defence. If they find evidence that you bought them for self defence you will be charged the same as keeping an illegal weapon.

Finding the woman outside--I remember seeing a woman's shies on a hike once and the man I was with made a joke about it, but as a woman instantly I worried that something had happened to the person who been wearing them. Women all over the world understand the fear of those situations, in a way that many men don't consider. It is so troubling that Indigenous women are especially targeted for violence,we must look out for one another. Hope the world can become more peaceful ❤

🌄I remember as a youth when we came up the hill and would see these remnants of a woman's clothes on the rocky side we figured she would have been struck by a thunderbolt ⚡

Our voice is life. I'm so sick and tired of colonizers silencing us. I'm so sick and tired of it.

Limlmtx, from my Dine-zaa ancestors. We have a long history of abuse. My Sekani ancestors survived by integrating with the Sinixt and, eventually, the Spokan. Eeh, sister.

I wish this was talked about way more than it is- my prayers are with you all. I am so sorry for what our ancestors and we still keep doing to your lands- I also hope we can find the way to stop this violence against the women.
