Hey guys, another Tico here! I have to say I'm very, very, impressed by the amount of research it went to the character of Paz, really, myself that has studied my country a lot, Paz is an entire book to read about, they put a lot of effort to make a character to represent our country and I can say it's completely accurate. This is probably one of my favorite games as I always loved MSG and I feel in love seeing how they portrayed our land, not that recognized, feels so special seeing Big Boss learn and talk about it, really, really cool. This Briefings are also awesome, they have a lot of Information about cultural and historical aspects, really did not expect Snake to say the name of a place like Irazu, and they managed to make it all up to conversations that feels so natural, really, this game is just such an amazing job and one I feel in love with. Pura Vida!
It saddens me how Paz's appearance in the Phantom Pain was only an illusion. They could of fixed up and forgave each other of the Peace Walker incident. 🙁
@@anibalhyrulesantihero7021 or have Snake dive in after Paz,get her back aboard mother base and have her patched up,then come Ground Zero's and The Phantom Pain I suspect things would have been a lot different.
truth is even if they found the second bomb and say saved her, she wont survive for long or atleast in healthy condition due to the surgery during Camp Omega incident, the surgeon said he "removed organs she don't need" to make sure she dies or render helpless either way. writer decision on removing Chico and Paz was tragic none the less I wanted to see their interaction more ... what a shame.
@@alexanderavila8488 Yeh, there's a tape in Ground Zeros where Skull Face is talking to the surgeon who is putting the bombs in her. The surgeon says "I removed a few organs she won't need anymore" to make room for them and Skull Face asks "How long will she last then?" to which the surgeon replies "As long as the packages" (referring to the bombs)
i suppose the simple explanation would be that her occasional inability to correctly pronounce Spanish words foreshadow the reveal that she is not actually from latin america, and was raised in the US by cipher instead.

Lol if Snake had some culture he would have suspected that costa rican people are not blonde and with blue eyes, and that most costa rican people have poor english lol
