For reference, by the compiling rules of this video, Major Zero's calls all amount to about 41 minutes, Eva's calls amount to 19 minutes, and Sigint's and The Boss's calls combined amount to 26 total minutes, though realistically The Boss only takes up 6 minutes in calls and Sigint takes up the other 20.
She's only somewhat correct too; generally the fly-agaric has fairly low levels of poisons, so unless Snake or others ate a lot of them, or were a child or something it probably wouldn't poison them. But they are loaded with psychotropics, so Snake would likely hallucinate.

Her voice is extremely charming and attractive as hell, and her performance is real and believable..Absolutely flawless fantastic acting. Probably my favorite character to listen to in MGS 3 and probably the series (aside from Snake). Her voice is just super hot.

dang, it don't remember her being that hot, but for real these conversations are priceless. MGS3 really did have everything, from the plot, to the sad ending, and all the little side things and details like the codex calls.
MALICEM12 There is well over 8 hours of lines alone. Including the modeling, music, sound design, and cutscenes, this really must be one of the most packed games in history. Not to mention the sheer amount of gameplay. Good gosh, this game was great.
@@BagzAndPresident Because Dr. Clark was originally a man, then Kojima wrote her as a woman and retconned that by explaining that Paramedic just used a Man's name as cover up so people don't identify her identity.
Big Boss being enlisted and literally only caring about food and how it tastes is one of the most hilariously realistic things I love about this game, after having been enlisted myself. 🤣🤣🤣
I realize now that Para-Medic, at least in MGS3, is a James Bond reference in it of herself, a parallel to Miss Moneypenny. Both serve a higher commanding officer to the hero (Moneypenny to M, Para-Medic to Zero), both are meant to give that real cute, hot but sweet vibe, and both have unrequited crushes on the main hero character and flirts from time to time (although Snake being Snake, he never catches on).
These codec calls always had an intimate feeling to them. All of them throughout the games. It’s one of the best character/relationship building devices that mgs ever had.

You can see her in the Intro on the part where Zero walks around in the Cockpit and Ending with Sigint on where Snake got his title. There's even a Secret Theater of MGS3 where it have some blooper scenes where Para-medic was riding The Boss's horse. She's even playable in MGS Portable OPS if you go to the communication tower after getting a medicine for Campbell and your allies where you have to find her so she can be unlocked

At first I thought Para-medic was a Medical Director Physician who assists actual paramedics over the radio ( which would make sense) but now i just think she had an interest in creating that army unit and that was a nickname that stuck with her

It’s kinda funny coming back to these and seeing how she was during the events of MGS3, she was always fun to listen to as we’re all of them. But never forget what she became and what she did to Grey Fox.
@@redhood444 Para-Medics amorality is not really that out of character. You can already see traits of that in MGS 3. It's not noticiable because of the humor but is there.
Phantom Pain didn't have a lot of trivia. Few light-hearted talks. Crappier cassettes. Limited radio/call support. Miller is grumpy. Ocelot is normal. There is no female char/voice support.

People say they have a hard time buying Paramedic could be Dr Clark, but she’s very eccentric, being a fanatic of old movies that almost always feature monsters or science experiments gone wrong. One of the first things she says is that she had a good reputation before she joined the CIA, with her admitting that she got a reputation as a quack doctor. She also mentions her knowledge of dna, and the importance of Snake having children, with her saying that clones are more efficient than just having children. It’s true that she says the cloning wouldn’t be morally right, however it’s easy to see her curiosity overtaking her morality given time, especially given her eccentric nature. She even says that “technology changes people” Combine these things together, and it’s not too hard to imagine her trying to create a cyborg ninja, or trying to clone Snake. Having Paramedic and Sigint be members of the Patriots puts you into Big Boss’s head space, you can’t believe that your friends would betray you. It adds a human element to the shadow government in a way that feels so natural that you don’t want to believe it, just like Big Boss.
After the playstation showcase today i had to come back to this video and get myself hyped for the remake theyve got the orginal voice cast coming back too so heres hoping we get some new gems of codec calls along with a few of these old ones!
Para-Medic best codec calls ever, Signit is close second. MGS's cast is too awesome to be the patriots, that's why I hate Kojima for trying to tie up everything in a neat little bundle. I'd rather have open ended plot threads than badly resolved ones.
Well, someone had to start the Patriots. Even the Patriot AIs weren't vast in number, so it shouldn't be shocking that the actual people involved are wrapped up in a neat little bundle.
That conversation where the Major butts in and starts going on and on about James Bond is my absolute favorite. The characters in this game were all so likable and human. One of the best games of all time.

Soo much unique and charming dialogue for every single thing in the game. Snake asks how something tastes over and over again and they manage to make it fun every time
@@Tuxedosnake00 Actually, Naomi confirmed she helped cover up Dr. Clark's death, meaning either the explosion happened AFTER Grey Fox killed her, or there was no explosion at all.
