As I'm sitting up at 3am, sleep deprived caused by medicine... my mind wonders. I've been in treatment now for Leukemia for 5 months. I'm only 21 years of age. The medicine is rough, and is causing damage, although it is keeping the cancer at bay... but my mind wonders. What's my future like... ? Is tomorrow promised for me... ? All the pain and suffering my family and friends are going through because I'm sick... I'm sorry. It's been a wild couple years for me. Was just starting too live and begin my life before I was diagnosed. At mist of an epidemic of a virus and unity among the people. There will always be that thought for me... whens my day coming, I hate seeing my loved ones feel sympathy and a halt for my parents too take care of me when I'm too weak too stand.. eat... or just the daily momentum of life. I didn't ask for this.. and I never asked for help in my entire life so this is new too me.. I thought I was always strong and I am... but my mind wonders.. will I be okay..? Will my close ones be okay without me..? Will they be okay watching me recover when I'm at my weakest and most vulnerable state..? my mind wonders... in the face of death and not accomplishing any of my dreams.. but impacting so many lives emotionally.. I've let go.. I always loved at my hardest and smiled when I could.. but it's truly been forever now as I stare at the face of death everyday... even when I'm doing well... that thought.. why me? I never questioned my faith and these tough situations really do mold youu.. but my mind wonders... take each day as it comes.. try your best... give yourself credit... love and appreciate the people who stand by you... be grateful for the clothes on your back and the food on your table... because you never know when things are just a memory or when your time is up.. don't let your dreams be dreams... chase em while you still can.. love people for who they are, not what they can give you... take care of your health...and live your life.. you only have one... because you never know when life will throw a curve ball at you.. and when it does.. your mind will wonder...

My big exam in 28 days. Listening to this made me feel calm. It remind me that it is okay. You might think that you are stupid. It is okay. It is not over. You have all the years to try. I keep seeing these inspirational messages popping up and even though its 1am I still feel like I should add some happiness to this comment section. It’s a bit of a long story but stick around! I usually find myself bored out of my mind during the day, wasting away on sweets and shows to pass the time. It distracts me from the harsh reality that is life. I try to go to sleep but what I distracted myself from during the day all comes to me at once. Yes, it makes me sad. Yes, it makes me lose sleep. I feel lost in this world, I just can’t find something I like, even if I am good at it. I just, fear what might be, but I also fear what might not be. These conflicts usually hit me when I’m at my weakest, so I usually break down a lot. And I try to remind myself to talk to my mom, who I’m closest to, about it. But she’s either busy or I’m too worried about what she might say or how I’m even going to explain what’s going on. But I do manage to find peace in these difficult times. I talk to people. Online is good, but talking to someone face to face is much better. If someone cares about you they’ll be able to see the pain behind your eyes before you explain it. And don’t be afraid to talk to a friend or even a sibling if you have any. If you know somewhere in your heart that you can trust this person to comfort you and you need to talk to someone, don’t worry. Its okay to be worried about how they might react. But if they’re a true friend they’ll comfort you, I promise. If you don’t have friends like that its okay. As long as you have someone to talk to. What I’m getting at is that I’m not only trying to help the people reading this, but myself. I’m building up the courage to go and talk to someone about my feelings. About how I feel lost, about how I want to cry, and about how I do cry. I’m trying to find the meaning my life has in the world, whether it be big or small. You can’t just keep these feelings of sadness and loneliness inside you. If you do that it’ll just build up, more and more. You need to let your feelings out. If you were inhaling oxygen, you would need to let it out at some point or you’ll pass out and cone to a standstill. REMEMBER, there are others there for you! I know it! So if you’ve been feeling down lately, go and TALK about it! There will be someone to cheer you up! I know it! But if there isn’t then I’m here to talk, even if I am just a random stranger online. When I lived in Japan many moons ago. I would go to a park outside of town and sit there. At that park there were was a group that would play this kind of music. I still remember how things were last year, I was in a toxic relationship, I forgot the beauty of the world, lost myself with someone who I truly didn’t know, I didn’t know who I was anymore. I’d cry at home near the window on a rainy night wishing the pain would go away and that… time could just stop but the rain could continue and the night wouldn’t end. Though I felt trash and not wanting to live, I felt comfort through the rain. I’d sometimes open the window a bit and put my hand out enough to get a few drops on my hand. They felt cold but… after drying away it was warm, like a hug. That once lover would throw their blame at me, anything that happened was my fault. I was told I was forgiven, but I knew the intention of those words through those pairs of eyes, the way you said it, the way your body language displayed. Somehow torn in a way I never knew was possible, I apologised continuously and couldn’t break free. I’m sorry… I’m so sorry… It’s my fault… I know… I’m sorry… I’m really sorry… It’s okay, I’m sorry… I’d lay there for hours listening to the outside wondering if crying with the rain was what I was going to do for the rest of my life… until I finally chose to leave. It hurt. It was painful. It felt like I was the one to blame, that it was all my fault, and sometimes I still do, but I left the relationship and sooner or later the rain had calmed down. I was still lost among the drops, but as the winter rolled round and the water became snow I felt the warmth of the world and everything around me. I got back to my hobbies, regained new ones, continued friendships, met new people- and found a new love. One day it rained heavier like before, we fought and I was heartbroken, but she held her hand out to me and told me it was okay and I was forgiven. I cried, confused, unsure- it wasn’t my fault? It should be… why… why are you apologizing? You hugged me and the rain had calmed down. No matter the situation, no matter the weather, you’d never leave, you’d never blame, you have the intention of holding on to me for as long as we can. Though the two of us are hesitant, how can we not say forever if we don’t try? - Probably one of the most randomest comments I’ve ever made, but… it’s something about my life of 2022 and currently 2023. I’m happier than I was before, and I hope that you know no matter what weather you go through that at the end the sun will always shine- and that those that remain with you in the rain: you should treasure from the bottom of your heart. I wrote a poem bc I’ve been super anxious lately. I’ve always listened to piano music to calm down & it’s my favorite instrument. So to everyone who is probably listening to this bc you’re stressed: I hope you have soft mornings. Open your eyes and your mind is blank. Neutral. Not numb or buzzing, but soft and simple. Money or fame or success don't matter and you don't hear the clock ticking. You're not behind everyone else your age and you couldn't care less what your family thinks. You feel the calm in your heart, the weight lifted off your chest, and you get out of bed without anchors around your ankles. There is a sweetness to breathing and serenity in sunlight. You remember the laundry in the dryer and when your plants need watering. You haven't had takeout in weeks and you finally learned how to make rice on the stovetop. Caring for yourself is no fuss. Love is in reach. And no one can take it away.
