I'm not sure if a new rider cautiously navigating unfamiliar twisties makes for good entertainment, but here we are. And not before taking a quick gas n pee break either!
I've read lots of good things about this route through Almonte to Tatlok Road, then onto the 511 to Calabogie, so I decided to make a day of it and go visit a buddy nearby afterwards. Fun ride! Took it super easy to be safe, looking forward to doing it a little more confidently next time.
Also, trying some new strategies for recording audio to minimize wind and maximize exhaust sound. This one got rid of the wind but sounds muffled as a result. Will keep experimenting 👨🔬
