Your content is also very timeless, as my 90y/o Nan who lives with me enjoys watching your channel just as much as I do at 42. I've just discovered your channel, and I'm I feeling blessed! I feel such a like-mindedness with you both and the book club community. I'm always looking for comfort books to read, and British classics or historical fiction are my long-time favorites. I very much enjoyed this bookish lifestyle vlog. So cozy and warm. You are both so lovely. Like Donna, I'm 60 years of age, and it's lovely to see a warm mother-daughter relationship centered around books and cozy living. I also love seeing the snowdrops. In my part of northeastern Pennsylvania in the US, we won't see them until perhaps late March, but more likely some time in April. Our winters are very long and quite cold. So thank you for taking us on your outing! I'm thrilled to have found you!

I can’t wait to hear the results of the tonic, it sounds very interesting and it certainly sounds like something my sister would be interested in trying too. The location for your cream tea is gorgeous. I had added Wintercombe to my wish list when you first mentioned it in a previous video, and I’m anxious to get a copy now and read it soon. The cover is gorgeous and I love the name Silence. The village is so beautiful and I would have loved to stroll in the graveyard. Would you believe I have never seen snowdrops in real life? I’m putting details of ‘little wins’ each day down in my notebook to look back on at the end of each month. Today, my 3 things read as follows: met a lovely friend I hadn’t seen for a couple of months while out for a dog walk managed to find a house sitter for my holiday in July watched Miranda Mills’ (my favourite vlogger) latest video on RU-vid - she never disappoints!

Hello Miranda and Donna. I so enjoyed this video. I have to say that you've inspired me to think about creating a cozy (cosy) home. I am somewhat of a minimalist, but I do think that there is room for me to add some small items and touches to my house. Also, one of my 2023 intentions (or goals) is to do a bit more cooking at home, especially staples such as hummus. It's so easy to make. I want to try a crumble. I need to sort out how to make it vegan, but I am sure that there are many recipes online. I love these lifestyle videos. I know that these are quite a lot of work for you, but know that we appreciate a peak into the bookish lifestyle. The trip to the small town was a highlight for me!

Thank you for your book recommendation’Wintercombe’ as I’m fascinated by the Civil War and historical novels. I have visited Great Chalfield Manor and Norton St Philip many times as I lived just outside Bath where also the battle of Lansdown took place. Not only is the house really interesting but the gardens in the Spring and Summer are absolutely stunning! Many British historical Dramas are filmed here so well worth a visit also there is a very old pub in Norton St Philip which is well worth a visit too. Congratulations on your award too.
I do a similar tonic with orange lemon ginger garlic and olive oil which is called a liver cleanse. It tastes ok and seems to ward off the usual cold and flu.
