Even if he was able to stall Frieza a little longer. Like maybe to the point to where Piccolo could’ve had some time to show up before he transformed to his 2nd form. In this saga, Dende & Nail really did deserve more. He was the first person Frieza couldn’t kill by just looking at them even though we knew Frieza was toying with him the whole time. He was literally the strongest person Frieza faced until he fought the Z fighters
The similarities between this and 16s theme represent the similarities between Nail and 16. They were both peaceful warriors, who only fought when necessary, to defeat evil.
MrBackin5ive Nail was the son and guardian of the leader of Namek. Nail is an important character that has been undderated, him fusing with Piccolo bought Goku time to heal so he could defeat Frieza too.

Nail fought on Guru's orders. Android 16 was specifically designed to eliminate Goku. One was an obedient guard who didn't intervene the genocide on his species. The other was a combative machine going deviant to his instruction. _"Evil"_ is subjective. It is established as the opposite of morals, which in turn are established by ideals, opinions and personal desires. There's no necessity to fight evil, because objectively there's no evil.
Son Gohan SSJ2 It's hard to say, there are so many excellent songs made by bruce faulconer. Maybe Dragon theme, and time chamber is another great theme too.
Regardless of it's finale, the Namek saga really felt like a journey. Perhaps the best saga in all anime. And Faulconers' music compliments the awe very well.
I'm a zoomer and was introduced to DBZ by my older brother. I have a ton of nostalgia associated with my awe of DBZ when I saw bits and pieces in my childhood. I never got around to watching it completely until around high school. You must have a lot of nostalgia since you were watching them as they came out in the moment! I am jealous.

Born in 03, I first experienced DBZ through some of the funimation dub VHS tapes that my older brother had when i was a toddler, so i have a ton of nostalgia for these osts. Some of my earliest memories of life were watching the dbz dub. I am quite jealous of my older brothers for growing up during the toonami era though, haha
wow a year went by so quickly. it shows why we should always strive to live in the moment because time flies by so quickly and soon we will be having nostalgia about these days we spent reminiscing about the past.
Man i miss bruce he knows how to showcase a characters scene on point and i wish him and he's band was doing music for Super but i now i can hope in the return of super he will come back.
Everyone drooling over the Saiyans, everyone obssesing over which hair colour makes your power number go higher. But the Namekians will forever be the best race, peaceful, wise, selfless. Goku is obsessed with fights and fun. Vegeta with his pride. Saiyans were raiders, killers. What did nail and the last of his warrior brothers fight for ? Survival, their people, peace. Namekians are healers, sages, selfless defenders. Why where the Dragon balls created? To revive the death from the Z fighters next fight. They were created for the Namekians to help the universe, when a Namekians arrived to a new Inhabited planet they would create dragon balls as a thank you to that species for welcoming them, as a reward for a good person, as dream of a peaceful future. And as long as one Namekian remains, the species can always return, because now matter how many tyrants, monsters and demons threaten the world, the flame of hope, The wish of a peaceful future will remain! Before a poweful and sociopathic Saiyan who only cares about strength, I will always choose a Namekian, who dreams, a Namekian who protects…….A Namekian who *wishes* for a better world! And for all of my people I shall stand defiantl :- Nail,Last leader of the warrior clan.
Why does this make me so sad? I just think of Nail giving up his life to save Namek and losing himself to give their race a chance. I think that may be why I love that he sort of stayed a character in TFS, makes his character feel less of a sob story and more of a heroes story. He'll stay alive for as long as piccolo does which is just awesome.
It still gets to me. I think that it is because of Nail. The thought of sacrifice and having it be hardly recognized just scares me. To sacrifice so much and for noone to really know you did it. Well, except maybe one or two. That kind of a sacrifice just hits me very hard.
When I listen to this it makes me dwell upon the land my ancestors originated from, my cultural heritage and how I want to pass that on someday as Nail passed on his power to Piccolo

Imagine all the peaceful worlds men like Freiza destroy for sheer sport. Imagine being mere grunts fighting an entire army. Fighting a battle you can't win, and cannot escape from.
Imagine living on a planet with such prized possessions as the dragon balls only to have tyrannical brutes like Freiza swoop in to take them from you. You know giving them up would spell doom for the entire solar systems. But not giving them up will be certain doom upon your planet and its people. Much like the Saiyans. Even if you gave him what he wanted, you're still guaranteed extinction.

Hey, I just realised, we're going to be needing the dragon radar. Well I had it but than I gave it to Piccolo, right? Yeah, but it's in my other pants pocket. Only it doesn't make a bit of difference guys, Dende's gone remember? The balls are inert.
This is really good. Too bad you don't really hear this though when nail fused with piccolo because the yelling and sound of the fusion was way too loud.
