Love your videos 💕☺️ I have just started my leca journey about 2 months ago and I am at 8 plants converting and 3 fully converted to leca thank you so much you are the reason I haven’t lost not one plant baby 💕
I’m in love with that pot for your peace lily. I have one variegated peace lily that I moved to a lechuza pon 3 months ago just because the first one that I converted to leca did not do well and I did not want the second lily to die again. I will be following this lily’s journey on your instagram. Thanks for sharing.🙏🏻
Now I’m getting a fish tank. How many fish and what kind of fish do you have in the tank? My husband is going to be happy 😂 🐠 glad to know fish water is amazing.
Hello Rachel, I can believe you And I brought the same Hoya and the same blue white pot. And I also didn’t think it was a Hoya 😂. What are the odds. I’m glad someone told us it’s a Hoya Lacunosa. Thanks for sharing your video.
Ahhh finally! Someone else who uses fishtank water for semi-hydroponics! I also had the same idea but hadn't found confirmation that it's effective anywhere. Thank you!😊 Do you have any tips&tricks?
Your thin Hoya is definitely a Hoya! I got in to leca for my houseplants because I wanted to do Kratky Method hydroponic gardening indoors. Essentially, your glass jar. I wanted to grow lettuce in the summer in Houston! I’d love to hear more about your hydro garden setup!
Could you explain a bit more about how the chalk paint helps prevent algae? Is it just that you are blocking the sunlight to prevent algae to be able to photosynthesize? Could you do this with any painted or opaque glass? Thanks!
Rachel, please show us your fish tank, and your veggie hydroponic garden. I have been wanting to purchase a hydroponic garden. How fun! I love Doug Chamberlain's web site. There is a plethora of information on there.
I have been wanting a variegated hoya carnosa compacta and other hoyas for a while but they are so expensive online and I haven't come across them in my area. I have a peace lily in leca, all the beautiful roots rotted but new roots and leaves are coming in ...however, since leca I can't seem to get rid of brown tips and I haven't had any blooms. :( Yes, I use aquarium water too! Great bottle idea, I do something like this with decoupage! I tried hydroponics with lettuce but it just didn't taste the same.
Hi, I'm not sure I understand this part 2:34 correctly.. - I should wash them with salt water - let them dry - put in to the final water Is that right? What happens if, after cleaning, I put them directly in the water?
I transferred a huge root bound peace lily to leca. I divided into 3 plants because of how large it was. 2 of the 3 plants are wilty and sad after 3 days in leca. Initially, I soaked the roots in H2O2 solution for 6 hours, allowed the roots to dry, then placed into small net pots. I attempted to leave them dry but hours after transferring, they were not looking good so I gave them Epsom salt and super thrive mixture, and didn't leave any water in the pot after. Now on day 4, still looking wilty including the one not wilty before. What do I do? I have light over them, humidified room, HELP! Peace Lilies were my moms fav and since she is no longer here, I really don't want to loose them.
