Honestly he's the best guy in the entire movie cuz he doesn't suffer from "Being played by someone famous means that we have to see their face nearly every five minutes without the helmet" syndrome. And the fact that he and Bloodsport wear their helmets while still in normal clothing is a nice twist 2

Love how Stealth is being listed as he walks on top of a wooden hut in bright red white and blue outfit with a shiny metal helmet in the wide open.

I love how Peacemaker plays like a parody of an 80s action man of Reagan-era America. He has the bulky build of famous 80s action stars like Stallone and Schwarzenegger. He wears a flashy costume that is tight enough to present the form of his musculature while colored in the colors of the American flag to represent how absolutely patriotic he is. His character is constantly overcompensating which can also be seen in his chosen firearm, a Desert Eagle, a pistol popular in the 80s that was known for being an impractical heavy hitter but powerful and flashy enough to be an 80s icon. Let's also not forget his arsenal of absurd yet effective gadgets ranging from his helmets, his sword, his shield, and his blowgun. It's like he is an action figure that toy manufacturers pad with unnecessary features and accessories just to fatten the price tag like GI-Joe or He-Man which themselves were a staple of the 80s.

“Die when you’re asleep is the most peaceful and painless way” Peacemaker at 0:17: “Are you sure about that?”

honestly, I don't think they could've chosen anyone better than Cena to play as Peacemaker remembering Cena's career as a professional wrestler, being a staunch patriot himself, fits the role like a glove

my biggest gripe with the peacemaker show was how inept/bumbling he felt compared to suicide squad peacemaker. But after they elaborated on his inner turmoil and strife it finally clicked. He returned to form in the last episode and its great to see how lethal and terrifying a focused Peacemaker is.

I hated him at the end of Suicide Squad, I love him now in the series Peacemaker! Gunn you absolute genius

They ranked him at “Peak Human” in strength but he’s definitely beyond it, minor super human strength, I forget what the next level is, he’s not quite Bane strong, but he’s stronger than Batman who is Peak Human, Batman can’t do a lot of the heavier lifting Peacmaker does.

the character work in the suicide squad is actually amazing, for all of em not just peacemaker. works really well.

I love how they killed everyone at camp…. Just to find out, they the good guys.
