Steel is essentially Ironman fused with Thor. But I'm not going to lie I like what they did with his character on here. Essentially they made him a beast, Superman's equivalent
I forgot the term for it, but I wonder if this is going to be universe-breaking (e.g., if Steel can make something this capable, what's to prevent Lex Luthor/the military/etc. from reproducing this or something nearly as powerful).
i dunno the state of the comics nowadays, but Steel was a Human who wore the suit in honor of Superman after Doomsday killed him.of all the "supes" that tried to replace him,i liked him best
Calculating, inventive, genius level intellect, combat skill's. Plus, he doesn't fall sucker too Superman and Supergirl. CW gave Steel a lot of justice.
@@Dragonflyjones67 that’s not doing steel justice, and for all of that the cw could’ve made an all new character if they were only gonna ruin an old one
@@DrHardlyKummsz Arcourse? CW mess up a lot of character origins, including the ones I like. But? You know what makes it satisfactory? The character development...... despite being from a alternate dimension of killer kryptonians (far-fetched and inconsistent in DC origin)? John Henry Irons was always a super genius and fighter no matter what. No more than he was in the comics. That's what I meant!!!!! Yes? CW butchered a lot of these characters, and it's very inconsistent in DC comic origin.
the effects were very good, I'm not a fan of the CW series, but I have to admit this series looks good. Steel's origin is a little different and so is his armor, I hope they adapt Superman's helmet and chest symbol, as it is in the comics.
"A little different?" For more than half of this video, he's a completely different character completely unrecognizable as Steel, and for the other half, he's a weird antagonistic version of him.
@@Oklahomie95 according to the comics, Steel did wield a big sledgehammer, in the manner of a southern legend where a black man named John Henry used a sledgehammer and raced against a rock drilling machine in order to save the livelihoods of his fellow steel-drivers. Henry won and saved the jobs of his coworkers, but died of exhaustion after finishing
What I love is how well DC showcase supes powers just like the comics with his punches and lunges causing shockwaves and his MFTL speed. DC shows respect to even a weaker character like Steel is made to be powerful in his own right and the one in this TV series could scale above MCU Thor in some cases. I just love the top notch VFX DC uses in all their modern movies and I wish the MCU showcased characters Thor and Hulks stregnth, powers and punches like this with the same VFX then I wouldn't have a problem. Because in comics Thor can destroy planets with his punches and strikes from mjolnir can crack galactus armor and a celestial and knock out the phoenix force and Thor is MFTL speed when flying with Mjolnir and Both Thor and Hulk can casually cause huge shockwaves when fighting and both have fast reaction speed and Hulk can shake entire dimensions and break reality and time with his punches and he can release large amounts of gamma energy that can level city's but Marvel will never show this. But as we know the MCU continues to nerf them and this is the one thing that DC does that I like over marvel, they really aknowledge their characters powers and showcase them to their full potential and make them powerful without making them overpowered for the film/tv shows unlike marvel movies which is why I absolutely love this show so much and Superman is one and will forever remain one of my favourite heroes along with Thor, Hulk, Silver Surfer and Shazam.
dunno if iron man can last long with superman with an intention to kill. Steel's armor was designed specifically to combat superman but ironman's set of armor except the hulkbuster can't withstand it.
@@zakkarawylde151 had to watch these clips omfg ur right iron lose first fight but I believe iron man would be ready for next fight would be lot different 🍿🍿🍿🍿 it's tech tony would figure out idk but yuh iron can't see steel as of now
it's like someone made an unpainted love child between one of Stark's Iron Man Armors (somewhere in the mid Mk-30s) and Doom Slayer's Praetor Suit.... And then for laughs, gave it a techno kinetic variant of Thor's Mjolnir....
It really is one of the best superhero shows to come out of dc. It was a little slow for me in the beginning because at its core it's more about clark and lois's family life than superheroics like typical shows but once I realized that, I really enjoyed it for what it was.
Iron mans suit looks better though. Hell Steels comic suit looks way better than this master cheif knockoff suit. This suit looks nothing like the comicbook suit.
Can you make please a video about all characters from Assassination Classroom (anime). In special Korosensei, Toka Yada, Rio Nakamura, Kaede Kayano and Yukiko Kanzaki please.
So happy they upgraded steel from his depiction on justice league. There, armor was easily breached and even in the other animated films, was quite weak. It's why I didn't bother to watch him on this live action show but looks like I was mistaken.
This just prove that we don't need Batman for Kryptonite thing, always have someone else. Lex Luthor, John Henry, maybe the government! Hell there is a Kryptonite cave on Earth, it's not a "Rare" mineral at all!
customize would be cool if they made a second season of this that steel would make upgrades to his armor and customize it to have a S symbol and a cape
Let's see who can solve this. Q. IronMan + Thor = ? Options are 1. HeMan 2. Jackie Chan 3. Steel 4. Man of Steel The winner will get nothing but I'm going to pray for this random person may live Happy and strong.
This show would have been so much better if the season was one shortened and two steel would have been the main villain up until the end there fights were epic his build was great and his captain Luther reveal was epic
