Another excellent demo, great playing as always. You make my amps sound so damn good, thanks. This video really demonstrates the amps dynamic Trainwreck DNA , Clean to mean with a spin of the guitars volume control.

Dr Z Amplification would putting an alnico blue Celestion in the combo be “safe” and/or get it closer to the 30w version? Would the gold be better?

@@LazyLBand He has stated numerous times that the best sounding speaker is the Greenback for this amp. They tested several speakers and liked this the best.

I took my son to the Chicago music exchange yesterday for something to do. While I was walking around I saw one of these and asked if I could try it. Zach at CME hooked me up and I was in Heaven. Exactly what I’ve been looking for in a single channel tube amp. As soon as I get the cash together I’m grabbing this bad boy. Well done Dr. Z’s.

Jack is an amazing player! Was on the fence ....but he just sold me on the Wreck jr. He has a good skill of demonstrating all facets of Amos during his demos. Thanks Peach and Jack!

Jacky boy is the best demo guitarist on RU-vid. I know I watch them all. Jacks got much more variety to his game and that’s why he’s top dog in my humble O.

I've owned this amp for about a month and it's easily the best I've played. It LOVES Tele's and it's a loud 15 watts! It's articulate, clean to scream with the volume knob and the most touch sensitive amp I've ever played. Desert island amp. Most amazing tone with nasty grit, sag. and compression. Play it in person. You will NOT be disappointed. I don't even play my other amps anymore lol.

Can I ask, 5 months on how is it? I'm planning on making a huge once in a life time purchase me personally of a Z-Best 2x12 cab and either a Z-Wreck Jr head or the Maz 38Mkii, finding it hard to decide being 5 hours from peach so I can't pop down and try one.

@@daviddorrian5349 the z wreck jr is an absolutely amazing amp and it can do anything you want it to. I have the z plus too which is another just sublime amp.

@@daviddorrian5349 in my opinion if your goal is to make one big purchase and you’re considering both I don’t think I would get those two I would get one or the other and then some thing that is radically different. Not that they are that similar but they’re similar enough but I think your money could go further not getting those two. That being said there’s a wreck Junior and the cab would be epic. But he claims that the green back is the perfect speaker for that amp. Were you considering the Alnicos?

Extremely underwhelmed until 2:20 of the video and then my vote for probably the best 15 watt chime and Vox like Kerrang? my ears have ever heard! I’ve owned the DB4, Z Plus and the Monza and regret selling the first two.. This arrives at my doorstep Wednesday. I hope it’s a keeper

How you liking it? I've exclusively gigged this amp for the past year and it's been amazing. I've just picked up the X-Ray combo too. Can't unbox and try that until Saturday. They'll be an unboxing and first impression video going on my channel next week 😁

Are you using any kind of reverb affect here? That's the only thing I don't like is the amp not having reverb but it sounds good I don't know what you're using with it

He's using a guitar and cable. There's no reverb to be heard in the video, it's completely dry.
