was that an external pedal or a boost in the amp you used? Sounds as good as the Maz but a little more scooped and maybe a little vintage?

I'm thinking of changing my 65' BF bandmaster to a bassman circuit. Trying to decide whether to stay in 65' or go to a blonde era bassman. Any thoughts? I actually already purchased the output tranny and it's for a 65'. I think mercury might exchange it though.
