I recently bought a ‪@CanonUSA‬ EOS R8 mirrorless full-frame camera and with a pending trip to visit my daughter in Chicago, I thought it would be a great opportunity to try out my new camera and also try my hand at doing some street photography. I knew I didn't want to have my new camera strapped around my neck using the Canon R8's neck strap so I bought ‪@peakdesignvideo‬ Cuff to entrust the carrying safety of my new R8 instead. It was a great choice! Having my R8 in my hand while walking briskly behind my daughter as she navigated us through to see the sights, I was able to "pick off some quick shots" I found intriguing. Frankly, I was rather surprised and thrilled seeing they turned out even if their composed framing was crooked! 🤣. I highly recommend this camera wrist strap and every time I use it I feel confident it will safely keep my camera attached to my wrist.

I really like my Peak Design wrist strap and I use the Slider strap even more. Now if they could create a dual camera strap... ;). Thanks for the video!

That's really wonderful to hear you have the wrist strap and enjoy the Slider, too! You should send them your desire for a dual camera strap! They might consider making one 👍. Thank you so much for watching and making time to leave me your feedback...I truly appreciate your kind act! 🙏

Interesting. I'm also thinking to change the Canon strap. If you ever review one of those backpack strap camera holders I'd like to hear your thoughts and experience because I don't know too much about them and I can't decide which way to go. The wrist strap is an interesting option though.

First, thank you for watching 🙏Second, based on how I see in your videos you often get around on your cool e-bike (I need to see if we can get those here...I love your e-motorbike!), I do think your idea of having one of those backpack strap mounts would be a good idea and combine it with this Peak Design Cuff so when you're on-site at your destination walking, I found having my camera "in-hand" made me take more photos than having it in my bag and I think even having it mounted on the backpack strap would add just a few extra seconds you might miss a shot. This Cuff really is so simple but I truly love it!

A Lively video🙌 Btw I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, While watching I noticed a few opportunities to improve the video, I've prepared a short video outlining some tips. Mind if I sent it over?

Thanks for watching and sharing your critique. I'm always open to learning and improving. Since you have your own channel, may I recommend you add a video to your own channel with ideas for improvement using my video as the subject. That way, I can more easily see what you have in mind and you may gain some additional views and it might even provide a new topic for your channel if it takes off...providing tips on how other creators could improve their videos. Just a thought...

You and I are a little "old fashioned," but it's good to see that you found a modern product that is worth buying.

So very true, my good man! 🫡 I must admit, I found it hard NOT to use the strap that comes with the camera as I'm always one to use something until it's used through 'n through but sometimes us "old dogs" need to learn "the new tricks" 👴🏻🤣. Thanks for stopping by to watch this video as I'm experimenting with new topics/ideas as I try to find "hobbies" that are a bit less work-oriented as so many of my videos usually involve.

@@WorksIRL Regardless of the subject matter, you're putting out new content. That's all that matters. Besides, you know what they say about all work and no play.

@@WorksIRL I'm getting ready to learn how to use a pocket hole jig, for the first time, in the very near future. I can't believe I've never used one before, but it should be an interesting experience.

@@WorksIRL It was on sale at Home Depot awhile back, so I bought it in the hopes of improving my carpentry skills.
