I got the PD phone case and tripod after watching this video and, several weeks later, am really pleased with both of them. I'm not a content creator but spend lots of time on video calls and find that the tripod works well for that purpose at home or the office that it goes into my tech pouch/backpack, and the phone case I've found to be durable and functional so far. I have travel coming up, so I've just ordered the slim wallet (since I have the tripod already) to use with that travel and daily commuting along with the vehicle mount for the truck. Keep up the great content!
Just an FYI, the Mobile Tripod tool DOES NOT adjust the legs. It only adjust the rigidness of the main module which are the three legs combined. You can't adjust each leg individually. Aside of that, great video Aaron.
The wallet is the must-have item in this video. I’ve tested Moft wallets, Apple wallets, and PD; PD is by FAR the best, and all of the headaches of not being able to store all my cards and quickly retrieve them have been resolved.
Also, it should be mentioned the bike mount, moto mount, etc... are mounted with SlimLink (that little square on the back). It is a mechanical locking mount, not just the magnets.
Hello. Nice video. Did you say you prefer the stand version over the slim one? Also, what are your thoughts almost one year later. I ordered the slim one but I am thinking about the stand version now.
As a photographer I have some PD products and the quality and wisdom inside each product is amazing. I bought the cellphone case and I wondering to buy the wallet, thank you for this amazing review, It was really helpful!!
It's a bit of a shame that this review misses out on what I think is the defining feature of the entire thing which is the Slimlink. The magnets are nice which a ton of cases have but the positive mechanical locking of the Slimlink and how sleek it is, that to me is what makes this great. For your use case, even something like their Mobile Creator Kit which allows you to easily mount to say a backpack strap or a tripod is still one way you could use it even if you didn't ride bikes/motorcycles.
I have the stand wallet, and i have a pro tip 😂, i dont like to use it attach to my cell phone, so instead i put coins in the back of the wallet and stay there with the magnets, so i always get cash with me
The fact that the charging stand only charges my phone and not my AirPods and watch in one charger is why I chose a different brand that does and folds up just as thin
@@tandord491 my post aged well. I ended up hating the other charger and bought their charger and have loved it ever since. I almost never need to charge my phone, watch, and AirPods at the same time
While I like the look and feel of the Peak Design case, I believe the Moment case is better for attaching MagSafe products. At least that is my experience having used both on my Google Pixel 6. If you plan on sticking only with PD accessories, perhaps their case is the better choice. If you plan on using other products (such as an Anker wireless charger or something) I would recommend the Moment case.
@@Nomads.Nation That would be great! Just to clarify what to watch out for: what I noticed is that while the vertical grip strength is equal (like lifting your phone off a table by the attachment), something about the texture of PD case allows some attachments to slide or twist very easily. Not sure if that makes sense but hopefully you will see what I mean if you get a chance to do a side-by-side comparison.
@@Nomads.Nation They've got cases for 6, 6pro, 7 and 7pro - but no case for the 5a. I could use their universal adapter, but that doesnt seem as enticing imo
can you do some small to medium bag revies that would work good for medical supplies please. i have kids and always need some med supplies like Band-Aid burn cream Neosporin Tylenol things like that and want a good quality bag like the ones you review. thanks ps i cant be the only one that carries a small to medium med kit.
For sure Jack! We are hoping to publish a 'best small backpacks' review sometime in 2023. If you need any recommendations in the meantime, feel free to ask :)
@@Nomads.Nation thank you so much. I absolutely love your reviews, and the quality of the stuff/everything you review. it doesn't have too specifically have to be for medical, but it would work.
