Just binged on a couple of your videos in the Peaks..really good. Not easy, and some of those climbs and descents are a lot steeper than they look. Great riding skills in ALL weathers !
Did this ride today, wish it would have looked like this but it was so wet and cold, I was hypothermic by the time I got back. Thanks for what you do though, love being able to see what's coming before I get there.
Cannot get enough of these videos at the minute, really great content! I'm in the Lakes this weekend, wasn't going to take the bikes, but watched that many of your videos over lunch, I'm keen to get out!
You just showed up on my recommended list, watched a couple of your vids and loved the content, my kind of riding and don’t live far from the peaks myself so good to see some trails I can do. New subscriber 👍
marcus17a it’s great is that section. I love going down it even though I no I shouldn’t 😬 go pro’s always flatten the trail out unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed watching the ride 👊
Thanks Ian. Yeah some good riding to be head in the peaks. Got a few rides planned for the white peaks. Which I’ve not been to yet. Hopefully as good as the dark peaks
Great footage mate and full props for the climb up to the cow sheds. Having watched your descents I'm surprised you walked down the beast as it is well within your capabilities, was it icy that day?
steve onpoint thanks mate. I’ve got a Scott genius. Any modern full suss is good. Obviously the more you spend the better it is. Lots to choose from. When I was looking I chose a brand I liked the look of. And stuck to it. Which was Scott sports
Hi Andy, without being a pain in the ass, do you have the Trailforks link thingy for this route please, just another one I’m planning when I get my bike.
Hi, I’ve just recently got in to mountain biking, do you have any advice for a beginner? Love the videos by the way I’d love to be able to ride like you in the future!
Just ride as much as you can. And ride stuff that scares you. I only started riding in 2016. And that’s what I did. But I was lucky to have one of the gnarliest trail centres 5 mins from my house to practise at. Stainburn forest
Hello Mate, have just watched a few of your Peaks vids again over the last couple of days and want to pick your brains if I could. I'm thinking of driving up at some point this coming week to do a ride in the Peaks. What would be your choice of rides to do if you could only do one? Cheers.
This one has all the best bits the area has to offer. And is also weather friendly . which would be helpful after all the rain we’ve had over the last few days.
Dave 160sl if you click through to my Strava page you should be able to see where I started the ride. I park in that spot when ever I visit. But you have to be there early. As it’s a popular place
Hi David. I’ve got the Garmin 1030 plus it’s the expensive one with all the bells and whistles. But the others Garmin do are also just as good. The 530 and 830. All can be used to download routes from Kamoot etc.
Hi Richard. Not sure where you mean. But if you click through to my Strava page you can see exactly where I went. Link is in the comments and description. Hope that helps 😁
Lee Coop yes very annoying. Hero 7 now and again mists up behind the lense. You usually can’t see it. But most of this ride the sun was in my face and it stood out a mile. Top route. Every descent is amazing 👊
