The Hardrock 100 is one of the hardest and most iconic foot races in the world. The 100 mile course climbs and descends 33,000 feet through Colorado's San Juan Mountains. This is the story of Dylan Bowman's 2021 participation at the event.

Jim pacing Francois :D like Hamilton towing Verstappen in F1. Epic film, such an honest inspiration to even see the elites struggle, throw up, walk uphill and have long low patches. Keeps me pushing for more! Great job Dylan and good luck at UTMB!

This was SO awesome. Best thing I’ve watched in a long time. A few takeaways- Dylan is a beast, his pacers were awesome (before I realized it was Topher I thought it was a young buck in his 20’s-he’s super fit), Harmony is the glue that keeps everything in harmony. So inspiring DBo. Loved this.

Hello from Ouray, CO! My running days are over due to army injuries, but this was truly an inspirational film! Very well done! I got to see Dylan traverse through Ouray, just before he reached the aid station; I was in awe! Here’s to many more years enjoying what you excel at! I do have a pic of Dylan in Ouray; I will search around for an email to send it to.

Dude totally 💯 awesome video! Hats off to the production crew. Fantastic job showcasing the course and getting the awesome moments! Dylan, I so wish your name would have been pulled to go up against Killian and François. The friendships that is formed over competing is second to none. It must have been super special being paced by your friends, Tyler and Hillary. Then less than a year later, you witnessing Tyler finish so strong at States. Keep up the awesome work! ✌🏻

D-Bo's run at Hardrock was like Tim O'Donell's 2019 Kona. In any other year he absolutely crushes everyone else. Just happened to get beat by the goat. No shame in that. Also, Ryan Thrower did a great job on this. Loved it. What song is that at the beginning and end btw?

I can’t believe these highly tuned guys poor diet when they’re running, I think they could do much better with a bit more thought, if they could cut the sugary drinks and just drink warm coffee no sugar and eat butter mashed potatoes and eggs with avocado mash, their diet seemed crazy, they couldn’t keep down either, poor buggers. Just a thought guys.

Films like this point up to me how much work crews put in, and how much of any ultrarunner's success is due to crews and pacers. A portion of his finisher's medal belongs to them, because they earned it, too.
