Alwayssssss. He chooses death always. As usual. But he saved as many as possible and will continue while following his own choices of going with the flow while being true and natural to his Nature.
He is Oppenheimer. Can't wait for the movie next year and hopefully get the Oscars for it. He deserves it so much after having no Emmy nominations for Thomas Shelby which is a crime.
I wish this series never ended. But I guess the end is what makes it such a beautiful masterpiece. I will watch it again sometime in the future and relive it.
Same here. I’m kinda in grief with this show, it’s so good, i’ll definitely remember as one of the best shows i watched, it’s sad because it ended but at the same time happy because i watched. Now, I can’t wait for the movie and let’s hope for the best
Its not over, theres still a movie left. Its gonna start filming next year so it is gonna take a while for it to come out but it will happen. So thats some good news.
Feels to me Shelby lives the life he does because without it he wouldn't know how to carry on living. The war and his personal losses have left him broken.
4:50 again lol not a Gypsy but I can relate so much when Uncle Charlie tells Tommy about having to keep moving around so it all doesn’t catch up with you. I’ve lived most my life like that after getting out of the Corps. Try as you might, and move as much as you can, and I can tell you first hand that you can never out run yourself.
Cillian Murphy could be one of the best actors of our time, he isn't that reputed but once the movie with Nolan comes out he will come in the category of the great actors and although it's late for him to get that recognition but he deserved to be there, he is one of the best currently.
This was a fantastic edit. Here’s another fantastic edit of this song, but it’s Mike Tyson and his mentor/father. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m281D1qAjo4.html
We played the hymn at my nanna’s funeral so it was lovely to see it crop up in this show. So many English tv shows are about celebrities or aristocrats and I think a lot of us appreciated a show that gave some dignity to working people and our ancestors. It gave people something of a history lesson at least and a feel for the times.
Cillian Murphy has to be one of the best actors of our time....he is so mesmerizing... Phenomenal at playing Thomas Shelby! I can hardly watch him in anything else...I did watch him in Red Lights and he was awesome in that part....it's like he IS that person he wants to act like ...I mean he was in it with Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver!! Which are two of the best actors in the US!!!! And I truly thinks he was the best of them! Thanks Cillian for all you do for your craft....it means a lot to us....❤❤❤
Cilian Murphy was create for this role, like Jon Bernthal as the punisher, Daniel Gillies as Elijah M, Joseph Morgan as Klaus, but Tom Hardy is so adaptable
I'm sad to see the show end, but the ending was beautifully done. To allow the viewer to use there own imagination to continue the story either to reflect the history or to their liking made this a 10/10 show.
“Depression is like a woman in black. If she turns up, don’t shoo her away. Invite her in, offer her a seat, treat her like a guest and listen to what she wants to say.” -Carl Jung
People think this show idolizes Tommy but how does this differ from any other mafia show or movie? It doesn’t. It’s not about idolizing them it’s more about understanding them. Both moral and immoral sides of them. Humans love to study things in nature; behaviors, diets, tendencies, emotions, and being a part of the human race doesn’t excuse one from be the subject of that interest.
True. Our dark sides are just a part of who we are. Society teaches us to hide and deny the darker aspects of ourselves, just so we can convince ourselves that we are better than we really are. This however is very, very unhealthy, and we see this in everyday life in people with anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses. The struggle to always be good and perfect is ruining people. I have fully accepted and embraced my dark side and it is one of the best things i ever did. I am so much more balanced and happy now than i was lying to myself about how good and upstanding i thought i was. Humans aren't perfect, so stop trying to be something we shouldn't be in the first place.
4:45 Not a Gypsy but I am a vet, Iraq and Afghanistan and when he says, that every thing after that was extra; hit deep and it hit some thing I still haven’t fully faced.
I truly believe the strongest acting he has is when he gets beat nearly to death and still goes and gets everything done before finally letting ada know he’s got xx and x wrong and if he loses consciousness he might die. It is sooo hard for me to watch him complete his tasks basically seconds from closing his eyes and dying the entire time. I’ve been that way before. And it’s the best portrayal I’ve seen of it on screen
