This Peanut Bar recipe is such a great recipe. I redid this video because some of my viewers were having some difficulty. Candy making does require a certain technique and maybe that did not come across in the original video. Let me know if this video helps.
Thanks for watching Margie

@@MarjoriesCandies Thanks for the response. I will be sure to let you know how they come out. I always wondered if there is any way to make hard candy but make it mildly sweet. Any ideas? I'm thinking without sugar it would be hard to make a hard candy substitute.

Happy New Year Marjorie! I tried your recipe and the bars came out perfect! They tasted like a Lance Peanut Bar, light and crisp. I used the dry roasted peanuts. I must say that the first time I tried the recipe, the bars were good, but hard instead of light and crisp. I don't think I got the sugar to 320 degrees and I used cocktail peanuts. (I don't think it makes a difference on which peanuts are used.) Thank you sooo much!

Great recipe. Looks perfect! Im inspired to make this over the weekend. Love your idea to dip 1/2 of each piece in chocolate.

Awe. Sweet. Hi Everyone! Dark chocolate. Lindt 70%. Dark but not too dark. I love how Margie cuts the parchment on the edges so it fits into the pan. Great trick!
