ok tbh this might be more abt how skilled peanut is as a player, he takes a character out of meta uses them to take opponents off guard and make them learn this incredibly niche match-up
Yeah true, it kinda bothers me when people credit peanuts wins to little Mac, but in reality it’s just peanut being skilled enough to use a character as bad as Mac and get results.
Zero, The ultimate champion foretold of player that would come and dominate with lil Mac recognising the potential early in the game. Peanut is prophecy fulfilled.
The Mac Main Discord still considers him bottom tier, but moved up to probably higher within the bottom tiers. He really one received two substantial updates, and that was the extra frames on his up b which helps recoveries, and the serious threat of down angle forward smash which is almost a guaranteed shield break if you get hit with enough damage equalling to one down tilt from Mac prior to firing it off. There’s also a suspicious thing going on which we can’t tell is intentional or not, but his hands sort of “magnetized” a little bit and allows him to grab the ledge at a pretty weird distance. Could be unintentional but I dunno.
