The inimitable Pearl Baily performs this funny and long-neglected Christmas gem on "The Dinah Shore Chevy Show" (1960). The song was written by Pearl Bailey and Jack Barker in 1958.
Pearl Baily was amazing, she was mighty great! I love her; to me, in my personal view she was one of the best, at the level of Billie Holliday and Ella Fitzgeral, but I don't know why she never became as popular as them. George, do you have any more videos or songs by her? I'd love to hear them. By the way, thank you for this funny and wonderful video of hers. This is one of the funniest, but one of my favorites Christmas songs.
