He is such the showman. It’s not fair to have his stage presence and Eddie’s stage presence in the same band. You get fixed on Eddie, then look over and realize Mike is running circles, doing stare downs, making facing, trading things with the crowd. Mike’s side is a different world, a different concert. Nothing against Stone or Jeff, but a band like this with all that charisma, I don’t think will ever be matched.
@@joshmolinari4873always that guy. “That 2000 Vegas one was pretty epic”. Or “2013 New Orleans was on a level”. Or that “year notta city name it was epic!!!”. No one cares, it was a great solo.
I was there, hearing Eddie changing the lyrics from “we belong together” to “did we belong together” after all these years.. I guess every single person there would have a reason to drop a tear from their eyes.
GORGEOUS!!! INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE!! MIKE FREAKIN MCCREADY IS SHREDDING SITTING DOWN OUTSTANDING SOLO!! 🎸🔥 I'm sorry about CAPS I get carried away sooo emotional. I Love Pearl Jam, my favorite band on this crazy planet! Thank You for sharing this awesome video and ty for filming it. Much appreciated. 😊🩷🤟✌️
Like many of you I’m sure, I’ve listened to a lot - A LOT - of live versions of Black over the last 25 years or so . . . . . and I always love Mike’s solos (one of the reasons this song is the best live!) but this has to be, by far, hands down, without much doubt, the best solo I have ever heard over that time period. Absolutely incredible. (Side note - Saratoga, NY 2000 is pretty good too 😊)
Playing guitar sitting down is easier than standing up. You have complete control over the instrument and since the start most guitarists spend more time sitting playing than standing. That’s why they call it getting into tour shape.
