Pearl River Community College Increases Affordability and Access 

Once a low-income college student, Candace Harper, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Business Services at Pearl River Community College is passionate about making college affordable.
The college continuously saw that students could not afford to purchase their required textbooks up front. Searching for a solution, Harper came across Cengage Unlimited for Institutions (CUI), which provides students with access to their entire catalog of materials for one price ― and not just for the courses students were enrolled in.
By implementing CUI, they experienced a revitalization of the campus bookstore. The more Cengage materials are assigned, the more Pearl River Community College can provide students with what they need to succeed.
The college now uses 80% of digital materials for their courses, helping make education more affordable for their students.
