The term you want when you describe labradorite & other stones that reflect blue (or other colors) is "flash". Easy to remember because it flashes at you to catch your eye when you move it around. 😍

The bucking bronco belt buckle, the white material is a faux mother of pearl, affectionately known as " Mother of Toilet Seat". It is popular to use for the pick guard on electric guitars.

Cultured pearls are what the name says, "cultured" = farmed or cultivated. A bead is introduced into a Mussel or an Oyster, then the little guys omit the Mother of Pearl substance which coats the bead over time. Some pearls are quality cultured while many are considered low quality. (No, not Clams as commented below.) Many times pearls are real in the jewelry jars and I see many people on YT who think the pearls are fake. When the clasp is nice, but not marked it still can be gold or silver. Many of the overlooked jewelry jar pearls are "real" or a high quality designer or vintage costume, but still are worth selling.

The cala lily/bird of paradise pendant looks like a Holly Yashi;who uses niobium metal to create her designs. Many people collect her jewelry.

Stone@ 19:20 on Cookie Lee rope is an Agate; many agates can have greenish tinge due to inclusions of very tiny minute moss and/or fungi. They can be so small and plentiful almost looks like somebody scooped up some green swamp water then poured it into the stone.

2:16 the pearls are real freshwater pearls. Really good luster. There's a really good reference book by Antoinette Matlins called "The Pearl Book: The Definitive Buying Guide."

Those Pearl's are real. they look like River Pearls that are usually used for jewelry making because they have more imperfections. Also river Pearl's are from clams not oysters (if I am remembering that correctly)

Miranda Rosequist I think you mean freshwater, and yes they may be. Grittiness is the best test, the imperfections are due partially to the bleaching and irradiation treatments. Cultured (assume they are...always).weight means the bead inside is larger. The pits are made by the oyster, the rings are from the oyster spinning them.

Just before 9:15 about the string used on that pearl set, I believe they may have used wire guards/protectors on whatever thread they used to string them. But I've only seen them in metal varieties, not as little rubber tubes.

The necklaces in your third bag near the beginning look on the hook for a makers mark not the dangle it should help. They maybe Coro it Linser (I probably spelled that wrong)

They should feel warm in your palm of your hand. Sorry to say medium quality. I think there real. They definitely need to be restrung by a reputable jeweler. They don’t hang straight. Still, pearls are not cheap so pearls should pay for the box. I love pearls.

The first set of pearls you showed, you didn't check the clasp to see if it was magnetic, or at least on camera. I'd wonder if it were actual gold, if it's not magnetic, I'd wonder if those pearls weren't natural pearls because of their irregularity, my interest is quite piqued. I have came across a necklace with the FAXY all I can find is their two ladies from Canada co.
