Watching this just makes me smile.I still can't tell who's having more fun, Jack, Tommy or Muriel. Actually, I think it's us getting to watch this brilliance over and over again.
The 'attractive blonde' is actually Muriel anderson, the first woman to win the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship. She was mentored by Chet Atkins... She is an acomplished fingerpicker and not just an 'attractive blonde'... ;)
Aaaand isn't that Muriel Anderson right there in the middle witnessing all of this? Beautiful in many number of ways. Think I need to move to Nashville sooner rather than later, so much talent in that town right now it seems.
Once they get going it looks like Jack never looks at Tommy’s hands. Just smiling and watching Tommy’s expression. Having fun. They continue to amaze me. Hand issues keep me wanting for more speed if needed. I’ll never be these cats.

I’m a big Tommy fan but Jack is special, too. There are handful who just take the instrument to places it’s never been. One thing about them both is that they can play any style.
