Both are awesome, a different voicing on the mids, but other than that, they sounds very similar. Amazing job from both companies.

I've just bought the Dude Meister for $7.00, if I get this I have whole collection. To my ears there's hardly any difference in sound, and considering the price difference you can't go wrong!

The AA is a slightly more mids oriented, but I guess you could easily post eq and make them the same. That said, in the mix they sounded absolutely the same.

that is true, the Audio assault plugin has more pressence in the middle
