We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last Friday . Wasn’t much celebrating since we both had a bad case of the flu. We will celebrate later. My mother gave me a green bundt pan when I got married like your yellow one. It’s my favorite bundt pan and never fails me. My husband and I have always been a team. In the earlier years, we both worked and farmed at night and on Saturdays. I’ve helped hang tobacco many a night by lantern light. That’s what it takes. Sticking together through all the troubles.
I was so surprised that butter milk makes some awesome desserts. The batter is so smooth and fluffy looking. It will turn out beautifully. He is your husband and you are a great team he should be on here

Leslie if y'all like apple cakes try an Apple Dapple cake. I use the one on southern living but I use 1/2 brown sugar, red delicious apples and no cinnamon or nutmeg and I grate my apples. It's a really good cake and has a glaze like this one.

Leslie you know how much problem you've had with your flour going into your mixing bowl this is how a friend taught me to do it a piece of parchment paper down on your surface mix all of your dry ingredients on your parchment paper then fold your parchment paper in half then after dry ingredients right into your mixing bowl boy is that a godsend because I was tired of always spilling it on my counter when I was using a bowl try that little hack see how you like it

That cake looks delicious! You were right; his recipe says 4 teaspoons of butter in the glaze, but in the video he says 4 TABLESPOONS of butter, and it's obvious that it's half a stick lying in front of him. Leslie, I watch another farming couple's videos, both of them have their own channels and she is almost always on his videos. I watched one of her videos recently and she said someone made a snarky remark about him being on her video, like he shouldn't be there. I said, well, he's your husband and part of your life, so why wouldn't he be on your videos? I can't imagine your videos without Pastor Bryant on them, he's a huge part of your life, and the same for the rest of the family .
