With the stratocaster clean and dirty sounds almost the same, with the les paul dirty the pedal sounds less full, not bad but different

i have this pedal since 2016. i hate and i love it. box of rock with TS is the perfect combination. A distortion with fuzz colour. Its amazing.

This is not a Marshall JTM 45, on right side you can read JTA 45. This is a "Cream JTA 45"

You played the pedal through a bassman... a Bassman is pretty close to a JTM45 already.... I have always wanted to try one of these pedals

A Fender would have been better. A stock standard HRD or DRRI. Even a Vox, just to see if it could bring the Marshall thing to that "other" British icon of amplification.

One is BASED on another, but not even close in clipping and headroom

@@vexguine dude, the circuit is pretty much the same. it's ridiculous how close they are even in a topological way. what changes is cabinets/speakers (this is big, tho), transformers (meh), poweramp tubes (that matters) and rectifiers (eh). Leo Fender used what was readily available to him in southern California. Jim Marshall used what was available in England, so a few components did change, and also quite some revisions changed a tube here, a speaker there, but the DNA is pretty much the same.

@@RomanBellicTaxi I can see that you know nothing of tube circuits besides what you reads on forums. Just by saying "meh" to the output transformer reveals it. I have a Bassman. I have a Plexi. Two different worlds. Same universe, but different worlds.
