If you know me, and follow me, it's no secret that I love vibrato. I've shouted it from the rooftops, I've put vibrato on absolutely everything. There's vibrato all over Mars Volta records, it's all over Big Sir records, it's a staple of my career, and my love for the effect knows no bounds. Enter Earthquaker Devices newest pedal, the Aqueduct. One of my favorite effects companies of all time, putting a unique spin on one of my favorite effects of all time. The result? Blowing the competition out of the water.

It's an ongoing joke where guitarists will demo something like the data corrupter and just play blues licks, which doesn't show what the pedal can really do. They're not knocking the blues at all

I always love videos like the stuff on KNOBS where they go pretty in depth in explaining the pedals, but for finding out how far a pedal can be pushed, there's no better duo than Juan and Nick!

God dammit I literally have bought choruses and vibratos in the past and ended up selling them because I can't fucking find a use for them and I saw this and was like "learn from your past mistakes don't do it" and wasn't gonna buy it but of course you two make it seem like the coolest pedal on Earth and of course I'm buying one now so thanks a lot guys

I have the Alexander Effects F.13 flanger (v1) and its dynamic setting is pretty much the same as the dynamic pitch on the Aqueduct, totally nails that MBV sound.

All the new Earthquaker stuff has that momentary bypass. Even my data corrupter has that, although I'm not sure if that's standard. I got mine in a raffle at NAMM this past winter, so it might not be totally normal.

The Zoom Ms70 multi effect has two whammy bar effects. I think one called bend chorus and the other is more subtle it called mojo roller. Also they both have dry blend.

@@louderthangod sure . But no sounds that you couldn't get other ways. I'm just not sure how much we can consume. Pedal companies need to make money and it seems to me that it might be just becomeing a self eating machine.

That's why they're pushing so many new products. I think we came to a point where anyone can do a decent pedal and with the dsp technology it's even easier to make all these variations. To survive the brands have to think out of the box and bring some new features everytime and have a marketing strategy associated to it. And EQD nails in these two aspects.
