How often would you use that in multiple song settings? I get Chorus & Tremolo - maybe Flanger, but it seems too ‘severe’ a sound to be useful for a prolonged period.
I'm generally not much of a pedal user, in fact,I own three. Have a generic distortion, a early Big Muff and an old D'Armand volume / wah. But I really got into listening to some of the different sounds / levels The guys were getting into here.... From 30:38ish on, I feel like they really break through.. this is One of the best uses of this pedal imo. Although, it seems there's almost no end to the combinations That can be had, depending on the instrument(s) chosen to accompany/guide your trip,!!!
This guy is the peak of No Clue But Still Volunteers Opinion. "This is dumb! I owned it for 20 years but I didn't know it looked like a car. Clearly the manufacturer is the problem." Bro, did you hear yourself? The call is coming from inside of the house. "I was going to hoard them and then artificially create a market for a pedal I don't like." What a scumbag - loud and public about it, too! I knew we had to worry about boomers making the resale market a cesspool. I didn't know younger people were keeping the awfulness going. I wish I could downvote this video twice.
My Intro to compression was Money by Pink Floyd. I was like how come the guitar got quieter but you can hear it so well in the mix? I was like, I need this.
0:40 It's not waveform, but wave folder. Wave form would imply a wavefrom such as a square wave is use to modulate in the input. Wave folding is really cool, big in west coast synthesis. When you saturate a signal it's like it flattens above the threshold, making it more into a square wave, but when you fold it, you invert (fold) the wave above the threshold below the threshold, creating a whole set of interesting harmonics.
Juan got into a biking accident in 2020. In a update he posted on instagram a while ago he said that his main problem (in terms of making videos) is concentration (or something of that nature).
Ring modulators actually prefer fuzz placed after them not before....similar to analogue sub octave pedals like the oc2 which actually pairs very well with ring modulators
The tensor is the coolest pedal ever. It's been my all time fabourtie since I bought it. All of red panda's pedals are amazing (haven't tried the radius yet), but the rest of the lineup, especially the v2's, are hands down the best at what they do. I especially love the bit map and raster.
As someone who grew up seeing these guys play small venues over Nor Cal, these guys inspired a ton of musicians in the greater nothern california area and beyond.
